Indiana officially has two state Flags, because after law adopted the new Flag in 1955, the law of 1901 adopting the Stars and Stripes was never repealed. Paul Hadley's design won yet another state Flag competition run by the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1916. His design is yellow on a blue field, with the Liberty Torch in the center. Thirteen stars representing the original states outline the design, with another five stars representing the next five states admitted in an inner circle. Atop the torch is a larger star with the name Indiana above it. Expert Craftsmanship! Our expertise in advanced digital and screen printing uses a three step process to penetrate our custom dyes into durable, weather resistant nylon. Digital dye printed flags are steam heatset activated to lock the color into the fabric. 100% Made in USA to Official State Design Specifications by Valley Forge Flag. Expertly printed and sewn with heavy duty polyester. The extremely durable fabric designed for the worst weather flies in light breezes and blocks damaging UV rays. Finished with sturdy canvas heading and strong brass grommets.
