Founded by Colonel R.K. Walker and his wife Lorretta, "Colonel Walker Flag Company" began in the southern Iroquois Park area of Louisville, Kentucky in the late 1950's/early 60's. Operating out of offices and garages built off the back of their home, the business was built into one of the most successful flag dealerships in the USA. With the passing of R.K. in 1997 and Lorretta in 2013, the business moved to its current location. In 2016, our official name was updated to Walker Flags Since 1960, Inc. Currently owned and operated by the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Walker Flag generations, Walker Flags Since 1960 is one of the oldest continually operating businesses in Kentucky (66 years+).

The FMAA is the only organization (and recognized authority) that certifies flag industry products are 100% Made in the USA by rigorous standards.
