Founded by Colonel R.K. Walker and his wife Lorretta, "Colonel R.K. Walker Flag Company" began in the southern Iroquois Park area of Louisville, Kentucky in the late 1950's/early 60's. Operating out of offices built on the back of their home, Walker Flags grew into a successful flag and flagpole supplier, serving customers across the entire USA. With the passing of R.K. in 1997 and Lorretta in 2013, the business moved to its current location, and in 2016 our official name was updated to Walker Flags Since 1960, Inc. Still family owned and currently operated by the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Walker Flag generations, Walker Flags Since 1960 is one of the oldest continually operating businesses in Kentucky (66 years+).

Walker Flags Since 1960, Inc. is a long-time, officially authorized retailer of the oldest and leading flag and flagpole manufacturers in the USA. We and our manufacturing partners, such as Annin Flagmakers, Valley Forge Flag, Flagzone, Eder Flag, The National Flag Co, Flagsource, and other distinguished constituents are proud members and enforcers of the FMAA - Flag Manufacturers Association of America. The FMAA is the only organization (and recognized authority) that certifies flag industry products are 100% Made in the USA by rigorous standards.
