Indiana officially has two state Flags, because after law adopted the new Flag in 1955, the law of 1901 adopting the Stars and Stripes was never repealed. Paul Hadley's design won yet another state Flag competition run by the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1916. His design is yellow on a blue field, with the Liberty Torch in the center. Thirteen stars representing the original states outline the design, with another five stars representing the next five states admitted in an inner circle. Atop the torch is a larger star with the name Indiana above it. Suitable for Parades or Indoor Display, Annin Flagmakers Colonial Nyl-Glo Flag is made of 100% Nylon and trimmed with two inch gold rayon fringe. The flannel lined pole hem sleeve slides over a standard 1 ¼ inch diameter pole, and attaches by an inner tab. The indoor/parade 4X6' size flag is designed to display with a 9' mounting pole.
